| Q: |
What kind of tailights work best with the Undertaker fender? |
| A: |
Tombstone tailights look great and they just bolt on. You may want to do a small amount of molding to get a perfectly flush fit between the base and the fender surface.
The 39-ford syle teardrop light is very sweet, but does not have a way to hold the license plate. You can french in the license plate if you're handy with fiberglass re-enforced bondo hair (short strand works best). Or use the teardrop in conjuction with a side-mount license plate holder.
Side-mount license plate holders with built in taillights look very custom and leave you with a clean fender -- perfect for some nice graphics or bold colors. For safety's sake, you should probably use a Run-Turn-Brake Controller so that your rear turn signals can also operate as tailights. Because a single side-mount tailight is not much to actually be seen at night, having a few extra tailights could make all the difference in your safety.
A Russ Wernimont flush-mount is the super elegant solution that takes care of every problem and looks fantastic. But it will take some custom molding to get it frenched in just right.
