Rivco Risers for VTX1800R/S

Chrome or Aluminum Polished handlebar risers for the Honda VTX1800R/S Retro. These CNC Machined Billet Aluminum Risers bring the handlebars back towards the rider 1 1/2 inches and up 3/4 of an inch. This significantly reduces the riders back strain or reaching forward for the handle bars. Allows a more upright position rather than a leaning forward making long rides a pleasure. They have a polished aluminum finish and bolt directly on in minutes. Retains the stock cables, hoses and wiring.

Easy install on 05 1800 S, no problems. Bike looks better, and this solves the problem w/ upper back strain, wish I"d done this a long time ago.

The stock riser cap doesn't line up perfectly with theses risers - it hangs over slightly because the risers are not as thick as the stock ones. Also, the risers don't quite cover the washer that goes between the riser and the tree so a little bit of the flat washer is visible after installation. Overall though they do look great - like they belong on the bike. I find riding long distances much more comfortable now and even handling around town feels better. I would definitely reccomend these for your VTX, especially if you've installed an aftermarket saddle.

Good quality material/chrome, however the width should be 1/4 - 3/8 wider to cover the OEM mount points which are not completely covered. Xtreme shipping was excellent in geeting the risers to me!
